Overview: Our theme for 2026 is One Sound, inspired by 2 Chronicles 5: 13-14 -  “and it came to pass, when trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard praising the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music…….the house of the Lord was filled with a cloud….for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God”.

Throughout the weekend, we will gather for powerful times of worship and encounter, receive encouragement and practical insight from experienced faith and worship leaders, and create opportunities to connect with others who share a heart for worship and the local church.

Breakout Session Descriptions

 

General Worship: Responding to the Sound of Heaven

A session for every worshipper who desires to move beyond simply singing songs and learn to respond to the Holy Spirit in worship. We’ll explore what it means to recognize God’s presence, engage with Him personally, and participate in spontaneous moments of worship. Come discover how your voice, posture, prayer, and response can become part of the prophetic sound God is releasing in the room.

 

Worship Leaders: Leading the Moment

Spontaneous and prophetic worship requires leaders who know how to listen before they lead. This session will explore how worship leaders can discern the Holy Spirit’s direction, recognize moments to shift, create space for spontaneous songs, and lead a congregation without controlling the outcome. We’ll talk about cultivating sensitivity, confidence, and unity while stewarding what God is doing in the room.

 

Vocals: The Prophetic Voice

Your voice is more than an instrument. It can become a vessel for what the Holy Spirit wants to express. This session will explore prophetic singing, spontaneous harmonies, vocal freedom, listening to the worship leader and one another, and knowing when to sing, when to support, and when to make space. Learn how to move together as a vocal team while remaining sensitive to the spontaneous flow of worship.

 

Band: Playing What You Hear

How do you move from simply playing the song to playing in the moment? This session will equip musicians to listen, respond, and create musical space for spontaneous and prophetic worship. We’ll explore musical vocabulary, dynamics, transitions, instrumental spontaneous moments, following the leader, and learning to hear what the Spirit may be highlighting musically. The goal isn't musical complexity. It’s creating an environment where the band can prophetically respond together.

 

Projection/Screens: Seeing the Moment

The screen team plays a vital role in helping the congregation engage without becoming distracted. This session will explore how lyrics, visuals, transitions, and timing can support spontaneous worship rather than compete with it. We’ll discuss how to respond when lyrics change, spontaneous songs emerge, Scripture is sung, or the worship leader moves outside the planned set—and how to help the room stay focused on Jesus.

 

Lighting: Lighting the Atmosphere

Lighting can either support the atmosphere of worship or unintentionally draw attention away from it. This session will explore how lighting can serve the spontaneous and prophetic flow of a worship set through restraint, sensitivity, timing, transitions, and atmosphere. Learn how to anticipate moments, respond to musical dynamics, and use lighting as a servant of the worship rather than the centerpiece.

 

Sound: Creating Space to Hear

In spontaneous worship, sound is more than technical—it is pastoral. This session will explore how the sound team can create an environment where worshippers can hear clearly, respond freely, and move together without unnecessary distraction. We’ll discuss managing dynamics, spontaneous vocals, instrumental moments, changing arrangements, and the unique challenges that arise when worship moves beyond the planned set.

 

Camera & Filming: Capturing the Sound

How do we capture a spontaneous moment without interrupting it? This session will explore the art of filming prophetic and spontaneous worship while maintaining the sacredness of the moment. We’ll discuss camera movement, shot selection, timing, storytelling, and learning when not to move the camera. The goal is to capture what is happening without making the moment about the camera.

 

Dance: Movement as Worship

Dance can become a powerful expression of prophetic worship when it flows from intimacy with God rather than performance. This session will explore how movement can respond to the Holy Spirit, complement the sound of the room, and communicate what words sometimes cannot. We’ll discuss sensitivity, prophetic movement, freedom, restraint, and how dancers can minister without drawing attention away from Jesus.
